You get access to dozens of paid inclusion programs in one, very convenient online interface. This means you can submit, change and delete URLs by logging into just one web site, rather than dozens.
You also get access to click through, keyword and ranking reports for some of the search engines. I would have liked to see tracking statistics for all the search engines.
One of the main features of paid inclusion is that search engines will revisit your site to re-crawl and re-index your pages every 24 to 48 hours. This allows you to tweak your web pages every couple of days to find out whether it has helped your rankings or not.
It's not difficult to see why professional search engine optimizers love this feature.
One little known fact is that some search engines rank paid inclusion listings higher than free submitted listings. MSN is one such engine.
Paid inclusion isn't for everyone, as it doesn't come cheap. Having said that, paid inclusion can prove to be a most cost effective, traffic generation technique.
