AdWords Wrapper

AdWords Wrapper is the original, free, online, time-saving keyword tool that wraps keywords in "quotation marks" (phrase match), [square brackets] (exact match), +Modified +Broad match, -"Negative Phrase" match, and -[Negative Exact] match for use in Google AdWords campaigns.

For example, if you enter these keywords:

How to use AdWords Wrapper:

  1. Research keywords using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool Google Keyword Planner (requires AdWords account), or your favorite keyword tool (I like KeywordSpy).
  2. If you want to clean or edit a large number of keywords, use my Keyword Tool.
  3. Enter the keywords into the box below - one keyword phrase per line.
  4. Check one or more of the options.
  5. Click the "Wrap AdWords" button.
  6. Copy and paste the keywords into Google AdWords, AdWords Editor, a text file, Excel spreadsheet, etc.

Optional:
Change to lowercase
Remove bids
Remove URLs

Notes:

  • Duplicates are automatically removed.
  • Keywords are automatically sorted in character code order.

Negative Keywords Wrapper

The Negative Keywords Wrapper creates negative keywords by adding a minus sign "-" in front of broad, phrase and exact match keywords. Bids and URLs are automatically removed.

How to use the Negative Keywords Wrapper:

  1. Enter the keywords into the box below - one keyword phrase per line.
  2. Click the "Wrap Negative Keywords" button.

 

Notes:

  • AdWords Wrapper typically only takes about one second to process a thousand lines of keywords. I recommend entering a maximum of 4-5,000 lines of keywords.
  • Privacy policy: I respect your privacy. As such, AdWords Wrapper does not collect or store any of the data entered into the forms or generated via the use of AdWords Wrapper. The keywords you enter are only used to generate the reformatted keywords. They're immediately discarded afterwards.
